King City Math and Science, English and French Tutors

From King City Math tutoring, to Science, Biology, Chemistry and many other subjects, Inspiring Tutors can guide your King City student to success.

What is true everywhere including King City is that every child is different, and the pace at which he or she learns any particular subject can also be different.  Sometimes, children need extra help to keep up with their classmates. Sometimes, they just need enrichment is some areas. Though each child is an individual, here are different scenarios we encounter:

The methods of teaching Math have changed since parents have gone to school. When a loving parent shows their child the way they have learned to solve a certain problem, it often confuses the child. If the test is designed to evaluate the student’s ability to use a certain strategy in finding the answer, he/she may do poorly on the test. Ontario certified Teachers have been trained to evaluate and they know what to look for in an answer.

Sometimes, even parents with a strong Math background, are too busy to help as consistently as needed.

For students who do not have natural Math abilities, the semester system in High School is not to their advantage. It gives them the time to forget the concepts learned the previous school year. Often, they must persevere in order to obtain their Math credits in order to get into the post-secondary program of their choice.

English and French Language Arts

In the early years, reading is so very important. A good reader will succeed well because proficient reading skills are essential for all subject areas.  Some children bloom a little later than others in this area. Some children need different learning methods to help them read. An Ontario Certified Teacher working one on one with a student can help prepare him/her for the next reading evaluation.

Writing is so much more than just spelling and grammar. Students often need help organizing their thoughts before they write a paragraph, story or letter. One on one coaching can be very helpful.

These scenarios are probably not your story, please contact us as we would like to hear about the challenges your child is facing. Each story is so different; this is why we believe in individual tutoring in the privacy of your home, where the student feels most comfortable. Having an Ontario certified Teacher tutor your child will take away a lot of stress for both parent and child.
